  • Richard has been teaching my 14 year old daughter for a few weeks now - it is the only lesson she has where she doesn't moan about having to attend! she enjoys the fact it is by Skype and Richard is really focussed on what she explains she is learning about and finds difficult. She tells me that he explains things in a more straightforward way and makes it more interesting that her school teachers! At the start of her GCSE curriculum, lack of confidence in Chemistry was very much her issue - I can see her more engaged in the learning and growing in confidence.

  • Richard tutored my daughter in English Literature and Philosophy A level. Richard from the first lesson very easily put my daughter at ease and was quickly able to understand where the gaps were in my daughters knowledge of both subjects and where he needed to focus his attention on building her confidence of the subject matter. Richard's love and passion for teaching shines through in his approach to tutoring. This instilled a higher level of motivation in my daughter to learn the subject and apply the learning in her school work.
